BSM 5-a-side group stage draw

This weekend Jack Alcopop and I made the draw for the group stage of the 6th annual BSM 5-a-side football tournament. This year we have expanded to four of groups of six teams, with the top four teams from each qualifying for the knock-out stages. This means the eventual winners will have to battle their way through a gruelling NINE games to lift the coveted tiny trophy!

Group A is looking tough with previous winners Punktastic and Fear And Records up against last years losing finalists The Old Blue Last. Group B was described as “the group of life” by Jack (he’s the long-haired one, those looking to break legs). Group C features Get Cape, another previous winner, alongside the boastful Alcopop, whilst Group D pits the hosts, BSM, against arch-rivals Tall Ships, as well as a tense battle between online magazine juggernauts The 405 and DIY.

The tournament takes place on Saturday 16th June at Wembley (Powerleague), from 2 - 6pm. Spectators are welcome and, don’t worry, we have a bar!
